Trash Talk: A Talking Garbage Can

A big part of being creative is throwing your ideas in the garbage. We wanted to have some fun so we built a garbage can that talks back, validating ideas or confirming they they were indeed trash to begin with.

Our technologist installed motion sensors around the rim of the can to detect when an idea was tossed in. The censors talked to an arduino in the bottom of the can, triggering sassy pre-recorded responses.
